When you post as you have, that's what you come across as. Offering to meet up even more so. I couldn't care less that you'd repeat your points face to face, as I would too.

The strike is dressed up as being about safety but it's in objection to changes to roles.

I believe the public shouldn't be inconvenienced in what amounts to an employer/employee dispute. Saying what I believe is gutless in yiur opinion, heaven forbid what you'd think were I to fight for it...

The guards are having their safety critical work taken away from them, thus cutting the number of people on a train, trained in safety critical work by 50% Why are drivers against this? explain that... their roles aren't changing?? ASLEF as well as RMT are against this for the same reasons.

It's all about safety, no guard is losing money... what else could it be about? The guards are having their safety critical work taken away from them, thus cutting the number of people on a train, trained in safety critical work by 50%
Why are drivers against this? explain that... their roles aren't changing?? It's all about safety.

good luck to them taking part in legal action, voted for by the members of the union which thankfully is still a legal right despite Tory efforts to the contrary.It inconveniences me as I get the train to work but I support anyones right to strike for their right to work and the fact they perceive it to be the train companies once again putting profit before our safety

good luck to them taking part in legal action, voted for by the members of the union which thankfully is still a legal right despite Tory efforts to the contrary.It inconveniences me as I get the train to work but I support anyones right to strike for their right to work and the fact they perceive it to be the train companies once again putting profit before our safety

If the union was honest, this isn't about safety. How can a guard ensure safety on a twelve carriage train? This is about potential redundancies.
