For a lot of gay men, especially those with a reputation or career, places like this were the only place they could really be themselves. Coming out probably would have been the end of his career; it just wasn't an option back then. Such locations would likely appeal to paedophiles groups as well, because the anonymity provides protection from exposure.

I think he might be innocent, but that's done to a jury of his peers to confirm. Plenty of people who have been absolute and forthright about their total innocence and that all of the allegations are 'fantasy and total fabrication'. And then been found guilty beyond reasonable doubt of really terrible crimes. People don't tend to be honest about accusations of sex offences. They can be innocent, they can be guilty, all of Rolfs family stood alongside him proclaiming his innocence throughout the trial, and he's now back in court for another eight separate charges.

He was born in Lucknow. His parents had mixed Indian and British ancestry. Their names were Rodger and Dorothy. Harry appears to be in denial about his heritage and doesn't like to associated with the Anglo- Indian community unlike Engelbert Humperdinck. As for the brothel they kept guest lists. Edited by Kermit8 (01 May 2016 4.29pm) Kermit8, Always believed that Cliff at some stage, had a strong association with the JW's in that apparently his mother and sisters all belong to that particular faith. In addition,his former band the Shadows,are all members of that said religion. Do they not preach that bad association spoils useful habits and if what you say about these allegations has any foundation, then I am surprised by the disclosure.
