Can I get hold of a moody service stamp?
Need to get my VW Amarok serviced, but can't be bothered to drop off / pick up at Dartford. My mechanic picks my motors up from my house and drops them back, lot better.

Rediculously low px prices you say! Working in the car trade, time and time again people change their cars for a reason! Not because they put a fresh mot and service ready to px but because they know something is expensively wrong. Let me tell you the public don't help them selves when it comes to trust.

As for px prices the Internet has given people the ability to know the price of a PX before they even arrive at the dealer. Dealers are interested in making a profit on the car they are selling and happy to give you what they expect to get back in an auction no more no less. That is the market price.

I speak as I find on this matter.

Over the years car dealers/traders have ripped me and my family off completely.

Even the introduction of Webuyanycardotcom and autotrader hasn't really totally addressed the problems with getting a fair deal.

I've never sold a faulty car and have always routinely stuck to servicing programmes.

But your point about some of the public trying it on too is valid if Casual's post above is anything to go by.... trying to fraudulently create a service record with a "moody" stamp.....
