By that rationale analysing things with the form would it be logical to conclude that certain injuries to key players (forgot the baines layoff before also) that was more likely to have been a factor with the defence & haemorrhaging goals especially set pieces. I don't believe that Martinez is solely to blame for circumstances he couldn't control yes he's the fall guy someone has to be.

None of their players have improved this season, they've all gone backwards IMO. Think getting rid of him was the right decision. If Rafa leaves Newcastle I can see Roberto heading there as he plays the 'Newcastle way'.
