So Pfizer are now the latest pharmaceutical company to pull the plug on supplying the American penal system with the drugs they require for executions.
I find it pretty irksome that European drugs companies are now trying to influence how America runs it's justice system.
What is the point of keeping convicted murderers and rapists at great expense to the tax payer when they are a threat and menace to society and will never be allowed out? Like a rabid dog, they may as well be put down.
This is just the EU sticking it's nose in where it has absolutely no right to. Because they are against the death penalty they are influencing these companies into 'making a stand'. More human rights cr@p. Terrorists, murderers, paedo's etc have no right to a life after what they've done.
America should go back to the electric chair or hanging. They should absolutely make a stand against posteuring European companies with their politically correct ideals and human rights BS. What next? Prisoners will be demanding the right to vote!!....oh, I should have known

I dont even hold a strong view either way but its hilarious how some people drag the EU into things that are totally detached from it. "Oh no I really ruined the sunday dinner...... F*CK YOU EU". The comfort of blaming others.

Exactly. It's not a popular opinion but there are wise minds on both sides, of which you appear to be one!

I'm firmly in the "make executions as gory and painful as possible" camp and swift justice, not leaving them on death row for decades endlessly appealing their sentences.

Pfizer's decision means US States with the death penalties have got to go back to using the Gas Chamber, Electric Chair, Firing Squad or Hanging..... much more of a deterrent to would be murderers.

I fully expect a liberal namby pamby outrage response to my viewpoint..... so answers please below....

I really cannot see the point of leaving them in cells awaiting there fate, why can we not use them for experimenting on.It makes no sense that we cannot test drugs and squirt stuff in there eyes to see the effect.surely it would give us a better understanding of these products and drugs, plus it would save a few rabbits/dogs/ monkeys.

Any chance Dr Joseph Mengele could be retrieved from the jungle in L America somewhere,so he could carry on his good works in a way you would wish in the good ole USA?

Seriously though, you flog and hang 'em asap'ers are shown up for what you are, no?Completely against an entity exercising its democratic right to act as it wishes in a liberal democracy...thought you lot were supposed to be in favour of freedom of speech and actions within the law,or does that only count what you can bash the left or minorities about it?

You could use them for testing life saving drugs or operations but the oh so precious pharmaceutical companies will get all moral about it.
There is no point in keeping these people alive, watered, fed etc. They add nothing to society.
