'Don't know anything about him if i'm honest'.

How ignorant is that when Eddie has recently ran 27 marathons in 27 days, all for charity, in addition to his other charitable fund raising.

The guy, an avid Palace fan, has done nothing wrong and did not deserve the abuse hurled at him. Some people need to be more open minded a n d live and let live.

The boring police have turned up

I think a lot of people on this site need to read the bible. You have been brainwashed. You say about Eddie but I'm sure if one of your sons started dressing up as a woman you wouldn't be happy!

If you read what I said I thought he was an actor not a comedian. And I never said he done anything wrong. Just that it's a bit strange to dress like a women if your a man at a football match. So get off your high horse.

Presumably you don't go to matches then or you would know that Eddie is something of a legend. His lap of honour in high heels rather brought a lump to the throat. Nobody had anything but praise for the man and how he dresses was about as relevant as a very irrelevant thing

I really love this persona. Great use of the word Bible, albeit were you a Christian you would in fact have put the capital letter in. You have one or two people actually believing in you, well done.

You don't half take yourself seriously, don't you? So because you don't agee with other people's opinions on this, you take the moral high ground. That makes you just as bad as the person that abused your so called legend.

I go to matches. He's not a legend to me, the loyal players maybe.
not a 2 bob comedian.

Personally speaking, it doesn't bother me. But to turn up to a football match dressed as women is strange.

I don't have any strong views on this type of subject but everyone is a bit strange in their own way so it's live and let live for me. Perhaps women dressing up in jeans, trainers and a Palace shirt is that men's cloths ? Is that almost the same thing. Eddie is a character and seems a very good person that's enough for me

I was at Wembley on Saturday and got involved with the guy who was abusing Eddie Izzard at the top of his voice Telling Eddie 'he was a F@ck*ng disgrace' amongst other things on the steps walking up to the turnstiles.

The t*** who was in his 20's was off his face, very aggressive, with wild eyes and acting extremely hyper (so may have been under the influence of something else as well? Also he wanted to take the world on including me as I told him to 'Bugger Off & grow up'.

This guy then changed his mind about lamping me and went on his way.

Other fans then surrounded Eddie and he was chatting and posing for photos.

Eddie said he is used to people reacting to him in that sort of way and it was no surprise to him at all. He didn't react or provocate the t*** at all nor was he particularly phased by it either.

Eddie was in trousers and wearing a Palace shirt by the way no high heels at all!

some people think that a man dressing up as woman is not acceptable and I for one wouldn't want my children seeing that and thinking it is the way to behave and act. If he wants to be like that he can do it in his own home or whatever establishments he frequents where it is acceptable. Izzard showed no respect or consideration for others and knew exactly what he was doing.

If my son had the same mentality of Eddie izzard, I would prefer he was confident enough to walk as the person he feels he is. Perhaps you'd prefer your children to live a suppressed, internal misery, unable to share their own identity, than risk embarrassing you.

He's got more balls than the t*** he was abused by. Happy that Eddie is an ambassador for our club. What a boring world it would be if we were all the same. What are we so afraid of?
