I guess it is possible. yes. but if they did it they wouldn't then buy 3 quality players...which is what I feel we need. spending around 20 mill on one player would probably end all other business. don't know about you but I think palace require an attacking central midfielder just as much as they do a striker. Think we need both to be honest. In relation to this guy find it hard to see how his price tag has doubled in one season where he has played 20 odd games ? Even in this current market he is overpriced, the top scorer in the Dutch league, Vincent Janssen is being touted at £15 million, a fee that some clubs are reticent to pay.

No way is he worth that! Better deals to be found elsewhere. 19 million on one player isn't unbelievable but the player we would get to smash our record would have to be unbelievable

I don't know who it will be but I have a feeling will spend a lot this summer, and I would be surprised if we spent £20m on a player. To move up in quality which Parish has said he wants, we need to buy players at that level. But we've got to make sure it's a low risk buy.

Club has to offload weaker players and recruit for key positions so as to sustain and develop progress within Premiership and beyond. We need a solid 25 so as to spread out the workload across all formats.

I don't see why people keep saying 'no way will we pay that much on one player.' We are in our 4th year in the prem, the money we will be given next year is almost at the 200mil mark. We have 2 new backers who will be putting a large chunk of the money up for the new stadium therefore freeing up more money for players.

on par with Cabaye if we were t pul this off. The lad has real quality. Sadly, we turned down signing Slimani at £18m and now he looks set to go to Leicester for 30m... Why cant we just go for it. Burnley and Middlesborough both spent more than us
Dont let Cabaye go |

When they were talking about the £170 million play off game on Saturday this type of transfer fee may not seem as far fetched.
