In the Palace tradition of songs about our chairmen

Who's that team we call the Palace.
Who's that team we all adore.
We're the boys in red an blue.
And we are running after you
and Martin, Steve, Stephen and Jeremy are the nicest people you will ever meet.
(it don't rhyme but who cares)

I doff my hat to you all.
Thank you for saving our club.

Events have proved that Palace has a heart. It took extreme adversity to bring it out so many thanks to:
1. The Consortium
2. The fans who paid off the St John's Ambulance debt
3. The fans who deluged Lloyds, PwC, the Prime Minister, the Council, Sainsbury's, etc etc with e-mails
4. Those who demonstrated at SP and especially those who 'went the extra mile' to Lloyds' Head Office.
5. Raj of the CPST who eloquently put our case
on Sky at the demonstrations and later.
6. The much maligned Trust itself who did a lot of work liasing behind the scenes.
7. Those many individuals who organised campaigns and petitions on Facebook, etc.
8. To Brendan the adminstrator who recognised the mood and passion of the fans and helped push things along even to extreme brinkmanship tactics.
9. The fans of other clubs who voiced there
concern and support - particularly touching those from Sheff Wed, Charlton & Millwall. It made me feel humble.
10. The fans and especially contributors to HOL not to mention the very hard pressed Mods - they now deserve a rest!
All of this must have impressed the Consortium and gave them encouragement to battle on through many complex negotiations. The whole situation turned out to be excellent PR for Palace in the wider football world and will give encouragemnt to other fans when the hard times hit their team (as they will)

None of us who have been through this will want it ever to happen again and I am now confident it won't.

You have made a difference to the lives of many people; that is something many of us strive to achieve but never manage. You should feel very proud of what you have achieved and, like so many on here, I thank you.

Now we can all start worrying about the World Cup..........I don't suppose you could......?

I cannot offer any more words of grattidtude than have already been expressed on this board, but it is important that we all say our thank you's!

It has been a tortuous ride, but one that CPFC2010 have conducted with the utmost professionalism and dilligence. I am very grateful and excited to have these guys on board making the decisions that matter. Thank you to you all, thank you to Brendan Guilfoyle who could have issued a fire-sale at any point, and despite their putting us into admin, Agilo deserve some credit for accepting (if we are led to believe the correct info) less than their actual debt. Something that secured creditors do not have to do.

I thank you from the bottom of my heart CPFC2010 and rest assured you have already played an enormous part in the history of our beloved Palace, and have cemented yourselves to legend status already!

I'm moving this to Gold Talk

It was my dream to play for Palace and to make my debut. I've always played for the club so if I'm playing here, I wouldn't want to be anywhere else.

- John Bostock (Nov 2007)
