For me it would have to be Kirovski's last year against Wolves.Great goal and it took us top of the league.
Theres so many to choose from though!

The best goal I have ever seen scored by a Palace
player was John Hughes goal against Sheffield Utd in 1972. This goal won goal of the season on match of the day.

1. Jim Cannon v Ipswich 1979 (shot from about 30 yards)
2. Vince Hilaire v Leicester 1980 (beat about 4 men and shot low into corner)
3. Ian Wright v Brighton 1989(shot from wide out on left - then we missed 3 pens!!)
4. Gary Locke v Chelsea about 84 - volley from about 30 yards after a corner had been headed away
5. Gareth Southgate v POrtsmouth (1994) run from own half and then 25 yeard shot
6. Ian Wright v Millwall 1989 (Pembo runs 1/2 length of pitch after a Millwall corner and squares for Wright to score v scum)
7. Morrison v Swindon (2000?) curled into top corner
8 Hoppo v sheff U (of course)
9. Wright v Chelsea (1990) first home game after cup final Wright shrugs off a defender who was all over him and chips beanpole Beasant from 25 yards
10. Paul Brush (mid 80's) - swerving freekick v Brighton scum in pouring rain

By the way the Staunton goal was against Tranmere and we won 3-2 (sorry to be picky)

1. Dean Gordon 1993 (?) v Derby - injury time and CPFC losing 1-0 Dean picks it up about 35 yards out and belts it top corner - the ball was still rising when it hit the net

2. Peter Nicholas v Man Utd (1980?) curler from edge of box

3. Dougie v Wolves in playoffs volley from 25 years

4. Chris Armstrong diving header v Millwall (1993?) when we won 1-0 and won the league

Andy Gray's free kick against Manc City last game of the season before the cup final. I've never seen anyone hit a ball so hard. Also against Pompey (first spell) ,we won 2-1 i think he scored a hat-trick (2+og) but he hit it from touchlinein the corner of sainsbury's/members stand. I was in the members stand behind him & watched it float over Alan Knights head.
Also Mark Bright against the scummers in 1989 we won 4-3, Brights was the winner.( possibly the best GAME Ive ever seen)

or even Wrights lob against Chelsea, evening game in 90 i think, over the flapping Beasant.

Not my best goal ever, but it hasn't been mentioned yet, but worth reminding some of the older school of supporters. Phil Barber vs Norwich in the mid to late 80's. We lost 2-1 I think. Curled in the top corner from the opposite corner of the box.

all four goals vs Wolves in the FA cup quarter final replay(1998?). Two overhead kicks (Dowie and Armstrong) then Darren Pitcher from 40 yards on the stroke of half time and then the best of all; great run from Armstrong in the second half and then drove it into the top corner where it got stuck in the stanction (spelling!!). Unforgetable night. Thousands of gutted wolves fans - and Graham taylor - did he not like that!!.
Also Chris armstrong vs Tottenham in the league - full length diving header that was unstoppable - such a good goal that they bought him ( for far too much money).
One other. Bobby Bowry's overhead kick for goal number four vs millwall at the den. Worst overhead ever, that somehow bounced over casey kellers shoulder to go in to complete a memorable Den rout.

The goal I thought was great was the Rubins goal against Liverpool a couple of seasons back in the Worthington Cup, which we won 2-1. It was an absolute belter. Also how about Lombardo's goal against Everton .
