Don Rogers against Man u Ian Wright against Blackburn (playoff final) Marco Gabbiadini Liverpool (cheeky back heel) John Salako Nottm Forest and does anyone remember the goal that never was against Coventry in the 80`s ref said it hit the post but replays showed that it went in hit the upright and bounced out we would have equalised and the game could have been so different I wish i had thought of a better username like MAX POWER

The goal against Coventry (or no goal as the ref said) came from a free kick does anyone remember that Coventry lined up the ref blew Palace ran around and over the ball for ages and then bang (no goal bloody ref) I wish i had thought of a better username like MAX POWER

Yes, I was there. But what about the rest of the story? The same thing happened against Palace this time - i.e. the oppo scored, the ball bounced back off the stanchion, and the ref gave no goal. There were protests and the ref asked the Palace players if the ball had gone in. Far as I know, it was Steve Kember who admitted it had done, and the goal was given. I also think that in the Coventry match, the ref asked one of the Coventry players, and he said: "You're the ref, not me." These are memories from way back - anyone sure of the full story? The right place at the right time

Ian wright scoring a hattrick at plough lane, one of the goals was like Beckham's from the halfway line. i saw that, + ian wright's against brighton when we won 2-1 and we missed three penalties+ dean gordons against derby county from al least 30yards left foot shot. superb, saw that+ gareth southgate at home against pompey another 30 yard blaster superb. i thought shipperley's header against sunderland in the play off was well taken and it's goodnight from me.......

Mine would probably be the first goal i ever saw at selhurst.... Can't remember the year.... We had Derby at home and drew 1-1. It was about the fourth minute of injury time and we were 1 down, Nige threw the ball out to Dean Gordon on the left he took it about 10 yards into their half and just hooned it across the goal into the top corner from about 35 yards out..... Luvley stuff!!! Yep

Andy Johnson against Wimbledon. He already had 2 goals and it was 2-1 with minutes remaining. Butterfield sweeped the ball forward, it bounced over Dean Lewington, and A.J smashed it into the top corner of Steve Banks' net. What a finish that was. i also enjoyed Aki Rihilati agaist wimbledon with a 25 yard strike.
