Where to Eat?

There's a KFC in Winterstoke Road plus other outlets on North Street.

Where to Drink?

The Pumphouse and Nova Scotia by the waterfront are recommended. Many of the other pubs near the ground should be avoided.

Rudgleigh Inn, Martcombe Road, Easton-in-Gordano, Bristol, (on the A369). Seating facilities for 100 people inside and a very large garden outside. Caters for large parties including coaches. Parking facilities are good with three car parks. If required carvery facility can be arranged by request. Email: therudgleigh2008@btinternet.com

What's their ground like?

Behind one goal is the large single-tiered Blackthorn Atyeo Stand which is a big contrast to a much smaller, older Micra Wedlock Stand down the other end. The Dolman Stand alongside the pitch is a big, steep stand, with its opposite number quite a bit smaller.

Palace fans will share half the Micra Wedlock Stand with an allocation of 2,800. Facilities are average, there are posts which obscure part of the view but with a low rough the acoustics are impressive.

What do they sing?

Drink up thee cider,
Drink up thee cider,
For tonight we'll merry be (merry be)
We'll go on down to Rovers,
To do the b**stards over,
And still pour cider in thee jar, (repeat).

Songs to sing back

Where's your Nick Carle gone?

Who do they hate?

Bristol Rovers, Cardiff City and Swindon Town
