By Car

Six miles from Selhurst.

From North, West and East from Blackwall tunnel: Stay on the A102(M) for two miles, then exit at signpost 'Central London A2'. At roundabout turn right (s/p Central London) onto the A2 Shooters Hill. (*)

Go straight on for two miles, following signs to Deptford and New Cross. After passing Greenwich Magistrates' Court on the right and going under a railway bridge, take the right-hand filter and turn right into Deptford Church Street (no signpost).

Straight on for half a mile mile, over a roundabout, to T-junction. Here, turn left (s/p Bermondsey, Rotherhithe Tunnel, Tower Bridge) into the A200 Evelyn Street. Straight on for 0.8 miles, passing the Marmara Restaurant and the KFC on the LHS and going over a bridge, then turn left (before the Shell station on the right) into Grinstead Road.

Follow road round for 0.8 miles through railway arches, over a mini-roundabout to a T-junction (there are pedestrian short-cuts to the ground from this area). Here, turn right into Ilderton Road (s/p Lewisham Lions Centre), and right again after 0.1 miles to ground.

From South (M25): Exit M25 at junction 2 (s/p London A2, Dartford A225). Keep left where road divides (s/p London SE A2) onto the A2 dual carriageway. Exit A2 after 10.3 miles (s/p Central London A2). At roundabout turn left (s/p Central London A2) onto the A2 Shooters Hill. Then as From North, West and East(*).

Parking
Limited street parking around the ground, so get there early. Try Rollins Street and Hatcham Road. Probably best to park near South Bermondsey Station otherwise you'll be walking through the crowd of sneering Millwall muppets coming out of the away end. Police advise not to park on the Silwood Estate.

By Train

Nearest Station
South Bermondsey (trains from Victoria and London Bridge) - By foot: 8 to 10 minutes.

There's a seperate walkaway at the station now that most away fans coming by train use to go directly to the away end.

You just walk down the stairs from the platform and the walkway turning is on the right, usually with a couple of Old Bill standing there. It's impossible to miss and leads to the back of the North Stand. No need for any interaction with sneering Millwall muppets that way!

By Tube: Surrey Quays, (East London Line) - It's a five to 10 minute walk from the ground.

Take left-hand exit out of station and turn left along Rotherhithe Old Road, against the traffic flow, passing 'Super Noodle' Chinese takeaway on the left. At T-junction after 0.1 miles, by 'Auto Screen', turn right into Rotherhithe New Road.

Go straight on for 0.3 miles, crossing roundabout towards 'Carpet Warehouse' and under railway arches, past the 'Sunshine Cafe' and 'Bermondsey Trading Estate', under another railway bridge and then turn left (s/p South Bermondsey Station, Car Pound) into Ilderton Road. After 0.25 miles turn left into Zampa Road to ground.

By Bus: The following buses run along the Old Kent Road: nos. 21 (Moorgate to Foots Cray), 53 (Oxford Circus to Plumstead) and the 78 (Shoreditch to Peckham Rye).

The P11 (Waterloo to Peckham) runs along Rotherhithe New Road, while the P13 goes from Streatham to Surrey Quays via Ilderton Road. Several buses stop at Surrey Quays: the 188 from Euston, the 199 from Elephant and Castle, and the 47 from Shoreditch via Liverpool Street.

Where to Eat?

In Ilderton Road, try the Sunrise Chinese take-away or the Windmill Stores next door. On Ilderton Road near Rollins Street is Moby Dick's chippy and the Ilderton Cafe. There are a couple of dodgy burger vans outside and the usual burgers, pies, chips and sweets are served inside the ground.

Where to Drink?

Drinking in Old Kent Road is fine as long as you don't wear colours. Having a pint at London Bridge or Victoria is another option. Otherwise it's best to drink inside the away end where Fosters and Courage bitter are served in the ground.

What's their ground like?

The Den has four symmetrical two-tiered sides where view, leg room and facilities are excellent. Against us, there should be a good atmosphere.

Palace fans will be seated behind the goal in the North Stand upper and lower tiers which holds 4,400. There are TV screens and beer is served inside.

What do they sing?

No-one likes us, we don't care, We are Millwall, super Millwall, We are Millwall, from The Den.

Let 'em come, Let 'em come, Let 'em come, Let 'em all come down to the Den.

Songs to sing back

No-one likes you, No-one likes you, cos you're scum!

You're the scum of South London!

Who do they hate?

Palace and West Ham
