Parking
There's parking available in one of the big retail outlets on Bugsby Way which is walking distance to the ground. You must pretend you're a shopper though! Otherwise, try the Thames Barrier visitor centre or the Westminster Industrial Estate - both £5. You can find the industrial estate in Warspite Road, off Woolwich Road, behind the Million Hare pub.
Nearest Station
Charlton - just a few minutes' walk away. (Trains run from Charing Cross and London Bridge)
Check train times and tickets at The Trainline. For more information, call National Rail Enquiries on 08457 48 49 50.
There's a McDonald's on Bugbsy Way and a couple of chippies outside the ground. Food inside the ground is very average.
The Antigallican right by Charlton BR, or the Rose of Denmark (on Woolwich Road), before the game only, as turns into a home pub afterwards. Beer is served in the ground.
The improvements in recent years have made the ground look smart, but there's a disjointed, plastic feel about it.
Eagles fans will be alocated the whole of the Jimmy Seed Stand behind the goal, which holds 3,000. It's a pretty poor stand with a big pillar obstructing the view in the middle. General facilities such as catering and toilets are not too great.
Valley Floyd Road, The Mist Rolling in from the Thames,
My Desire, Is always to be found at Valley Floyd Road.
Many Miles have I travelled, Many games have I seen,
following Charlton my favourite team,
Many hours have I spent in the Covered End Choir,
Singing Valley Floyd Road, My Only Desire...
You're just a bunch of wankers!
Crystal Palace and Millwall.
