Simon Jordan
Alan Pardew believes Simon Jordan and Charlton chairman Richard Murray should make peace.
The two football club bosses have had a war of words since the Eagles' relegation from the Premier League at the Valley two years ago.
And the relationship between the clubs got worse when Palace manager Iain Dowie moved to the Addicks in controversial fashion last year and Jordan successfully sued him for fraudulent misrepresentation.
Pardew takes his Charlton side to Selhurst Park on Saturday in a Championship clash, and after playing for both clubs, insists everyone should get along.
"I was playing for Palace when Charlton were lodging at the place and knew there was some bad feeling there from the Charlton fans," he said.
"It is a funny kind of relationship we've had over the years. Personally, I want to detach myself from it because I've a love for both clubs.
"I just hope it is a good game and it runs smoothly for everybody travelling to and watching it, and the two chairmen shake hands and are civil to each other because life is too short in my view."
