Mile Jedinak
Midfielder Mile Jedinak reckons Crystal Palace's season starts now.
Palace's superb run to the Carling Cup semi-finals came to an abrupt halt last month with defeat to Cardiff, coming shortly after exit from the FA Cup at the hands of Derby.
The Eagles have yet to taste a league victory this year and Australian international Jedinak has urged the team to get back to winning form if they are to reach the play-offs.
"If we are to have any chance of getting in the play-offs we need to go on a little run now," he said.
"It's important we try to finish as high as possible this season, not only for this year but also to try to give us the momentum to push on next year.
"I think a lot of football is about momentum so we want to build on the start we have had and finish as strongly as possible."
Jedinak, 27, has become an established member of the side since signing from Turkish club Genclerbirligi in the summer and is getting used to the pace of Championship football.
"I've tried to adapt as fast as possible," he said. "It has been pretty easy as the club and my team-mates have been very welcoming and made it all as simple as possible for me.
"The biggest thing about the Championship is that it is non-stop. You have to be physically prepared and switched on all the time as games come so quickly.
"The biggest challenge is keeping yourself mentally switched on, it can be hard with so many matches but we have three months to go in the league now and we need to be at our best to achieve our aims between now and the end of the season."
