Crystal Palace secured local bragging rights with a 1-0 win at Charlton.
The Eagles claimed their first league win at the Valley since 1968 thanks to Kagisho Dikgacoi's second half goal.
Palace came roaring out of the blocks with Wilfried Zaha looking dangerous down the right wing.
And against the run of play, Charlton found the net after on the half-hour through Bradley Wright-Phillips, only for the goal to be disallowed for offside.
Five minutes after the break, Palace got the breakthrough their pressure deserved. Damien Delaney headed Owen Garvan's corner back to Dikgacoi and he neatly chested the ball down and fired into the net.
It was Palace's first league away win in 2012 and they move from second bottom to 14th in the early Championship table.
