Crystal Palace ran out 3-0 winners away Conference side Forest Green Rovers.

New signing Frazier Campbell made an instant impact by plundering all the goals at The New Lawn.

First team coach Ben Garner and technical coach David Kemp oversaw half the Eagles squad here in Gloucestershire, while the rest were in action against Brentford.

Palace, who fielded fellow new boy Brede Hangeland, went in front after 10 minutes with a close-range finish from Campbell.

Campbell added another two minutes later when he got on the end of Barry Bannan's pass and fired home.

The former Cardiff striker then claimed his hat-trick just before the half-hour mark with a back-post header from a corner.

Palace: Price, Hangeland, McCarthy, Ramage, Bannan, O'Keefe, Thomas, Guedioura, Dobbie, Campbell, Jerome Williams.

Subs: Kettings, Allassani, Garvan, Croll, Egbo, Ferrier.
