Crystal Palace have been fined for breaking Premier League rules over their match with Cardiff City.

The Bluebirds alleged the Eagles had obtained details of their starting line-up before they met last April and sent a five-page letter to the Premier League.

Cardiff claimed they had proof Palace's sporting director Iain Moody - who had previously worked with them - tried to get the information.

It was ruled that Palace were in breach of Rule B.16 which states "every club shall behave towards each other club and the League with the utmost good faith".

It's not been specified how much Palace will have to pay but it carries a maximum fine of £25,000.
