Michael Hulf charity match

Michael Hulf charity match

If you fancy catching a game of footie and help raise money for charity, then why not head down to Horley Town FC this Sunday.

Crystal Palace photographer Michael Hulf has organised a team to play the Crawley Town Supporters Alliance in aid of Prostate Cancer Research.

Palace U21 star Jake Gray is travelling down from Hartlepool – where he is currently on loan – to be special guest of honour, while Pete the Eagle will be there for the day. The Horley Town FC doors open at 2pm, with entry £5 adults and kids go free!

Hulf said: "After the great success of last year's game I'm delighted to be running it for a second year. The match was a high-scoring affair with plenty of highlights, very enjoyable to watch.

"It was a good laugh and everyone had a blast with 147 coming through the gates. The most important thing from the day was the money raised, a great effort of £996 going to the charity. I'm confident that we'll get more than 147 through the gate and beat that total.

"There's something for everyone there, good cheap food and drinks, an enjoyable football match, money being raised for a great cause.

"It's a 3pm kick-off this Sunday with only a £5 entry and kids U16 free. So if you're free for it and fancy something to do and to help a great cause, get yourself down to Horley."

If you can't attend the game, you can make a donation to Prostate Cancer Research here.
