Sir Joe is short for Sir Joseph Paxton, the Victorian engineer who designed and built The Crystal Palace, and without whom (indirectly) we probably wouldn't have a football club!

Blazey is the nickname for Nigel Martyn, I nicked it off him back in 1995, and it's stuck ever since, I think he knows I use his nickname, I've told him often enough. I started off adopting blazey2, but it didn't work, so just use blazey now, as St. Blazey was Nigel's first football club in Cornwall, not far from St. Austell. I wanted to call myself St. Blazey, but that was just going too far!

as exciting as it is, 'alex' is my name. 'h' is my last initial. and on hotmail someone had alexh (this was an email for school, hence the dullness). So in came the 17, being 17. But hotmail do not allow spaces, hence the underscore. Having an extremely poor memory, I kept everything the same. Now I'm 18 its really starting to suck actually. And as the years go by, it will become a nostalgic humiliation.

"il" is used instead of "al"... you know how all the royal famalies and most ordinary families in the Arab world have "al" in front of their name like: Al Khalifa, Al Rashid. Usually, if you're are using a nickname, the "al" is substituted to "il" coz it sounds better.. my surname is maidan.. and "madny" is a nickname taken from maidan (both are arabic) Edited by il_madny (18 Jun 2003 5:30pm)
