Todays first download is a set by Mark Knopfler which was recorded in Wroclaw, Poland in July this year. This is in pindrop perfect sound quality - the best sounding boot by MK that I've ever heard... this is unbelievable sound. Some great tracks on this boot - Romeo and Juliet, Sultans of Swing and an incredible version of Telegraph Road. This cannot be recommended highly enough... this is just fantastic!! Todays second download isnt a bootleg, but it is a live album. This is Saxon recorded live at the BBC In Concert on 23rd August 1986. This is a great show that has been remastered and was released recently. This is the first live album I've posted by this band - and I've still not posted a bootleg... something I will look into... however, if you like this band, I thoroughly recommend this .... it's wicked! Todays extra download is a set by Welsh band MAN which was recorded in Manchester's Free Trade Hall in 1975. This is the best sounding bootleg by this band I've found, but I'm not sure of the exact source of the recording. I think it's a soundboard - using the audio equipment available at the time - sounds about right... I don't think it's audience recorded - unless its been cleaned up a lot. Whatever it's origin, bootlegs by this band are rare... really, really rare - in fact this is only the second one I've found in decent quality in years of searching... John Cippolina is playing on this one as well as Deke Leonard and Micky Jones... if you like this band... grab this one.....
