However I'll I give you credit, that your OK on Politics.
Go and have a chat with Harold Wilson.I'm sure you can.
Can you please stay on those threads and leave us alone on the "Football Threads".

I can assure you that MANY would disagree with you.I live and breathe football and my wife has a saying in respect of me "Football, football, football".I could say more but will refrain from doing so as it will only disintegrate into yet another Willo thread.

Not wishing to "Blow my trumpet" but just stating a fact in response to your diatribe.

Why re-create a Willi thread that was two days old and then say 'let's not turn it into a Willo thread' ...?

Unless of course you love it?

This. I think Willo has every right to respond when people have a go at him.

I wish Huddersfield well. Wins against other London Clubs, both Manchester teams and Brighton will be 21 points - half way to safety by end 2017. Hopefully their play will improve after they lose their opening match.

Hi Guys,
Just wanted to register on here and say hi ahead of our very first Premier League game!
We're all not sure if we believe it's real yet!
Can't wait for the season to start.
Do any of you know much about Lil old Huddersfield Town? Looking forward to a new away day? Think it'll be 6 easy points?
We're certainly favourites for relegation (again) 🙄
Hopefully we can prove the pundits and bookies wrong again this year!
Anywho, looking forward to a trip to Selhurst Park, hope to see some friendly Palace fans along the way!
Terrier!

Had some good times in Huddersfield and at Leeds road, although the 7-1 still hurts. Welcome to the prem and all its riches, deluded fans and sanitised grounds.

We have had chats last season about the club, including Wagner's signings from Germany.

Of course a famous Huddersfield supporter was Harold Wilson.
Frank Worthington started his league career at Huddersfield and England's full-back from the 1966 World Cup winning team, Ray Wilson, played for the club.
Bill Shankly managed the club.

Yawn what are you on?!
Sorry I forgot you are Mr football & know everything concerning the beautiful game via your various 'contacts' all around the world!

Your posts are so boring & make you sound like a sad c*** who tries & fails to convince Hol readers that your knowledge of football can't be matched by anyone else on here!Every thread I read you post pointless facts & comments which you google before posting & don't you have a life because you seem to hijack every thread?!

You have mentioned you have a wife so why don't you spend more time with her rather than boring a lot of people on Hol?!

I don't post much on Hol because I have a life but not got a problem with people who do but please don't try to make out your something your not with your contact comments because nobody is impressed!

I can only think you have a boring life & don't get much attention in the real world because your posts come across as a person who is very insecure & tries to impress people with all your facts & inside knowledge of football!

I don't know you & maybe you are a nice guy in person but you do come across as a sad c*** & I know alot of people agree with me!

Another Terriers fans here! Really looking forward to coming to the game. Last time was the season I think you were promoted and we played a 2-2 draw in 5.20pm kick off, just before Christmas (22nd December perhaps?)

I remember being really impressed with the atmosphere your fans create, it was completely relentless that evening and from what I've seen/heard on televised matches it's no different these days.

Don't expect our fans to sit here passively though, in recent times we've learned that backing our team vocally certainly lifts performances, I reckon we'll contribute fair bit to the party.

Not sure which rail station to travel to from London Bridge, last time I went into Thornton Heath and it seemed a fair old walk. Is Norwood Junction a bit closer?

We're under no illusions, we realise the Premier League is a huge step up, plus we've added nine new players to the mix which will take time to settle but I'm sure Herr Wagner will have us prepared and we won't throw the towel in no matter what happens.

Hers' to great match! - Regards BB

I've just read through this thread and understandaby most of you have warning us of the difficulties we'll encounter this season etc and your confidence of winning Saturday's game. Fair dos!

Obviously I hope you're wrong on both counts! 😜 To be fair I've know idea how well fair, so far I've only watched our two pre-season matches in Austria on line and we've played two different teams in each half so It's impossible to judge. One thing of note however is we've recruited some height to the squad and that's very welcome.

Whatever happens this season on the pitch our club will benefit enormously from a sharp injection of funds! And that alone has to we worth the effort! 👌🏽

I don't like all the negative feeling towards you at all, but you really do yourself no favours. How about giving a perspective on something instead of churning out some boring old facts that no one cares about and add nothing to the discussion in hand?!

As for you Terriers, it would be 'typical Palace' if we lost to you on the 1st day. IF that does happen, just don't take the pi55 too hard...and don't encourage any stupid celebrations in front of us, please. I've only just saved up enough change and lighters after last season.

My wife at times calls me a "Boring old fact" - or indeed an alternative word spelt slight differently !

It would appear that me being "Boring" is not just confined to HOL !

At the end of the day all I was trying to do was to give some background information on Huddersfield.Oh by the way, prior to coming to Huddersfield, Wagner had never managed a 1st team before but he had worked with Klopp and Rangnick.

Norwood junction is a 10 min walk (around half a mile)- Thornton Heath is slightly further (0.8 miles)at around 17 minutes. There is also Selhurst station around half a mile away as well.
