New rumour re Mike Tysons next exhibition fight is that it could be against Holyfield who has been calling Tyson out.

This would actually be a huge fight. Personally I was impressed by Tyson at the weekend.

Not a lot went on all fight. The way yarde spoke after the fight , you’d have thought he dropped Arthur 5/6 times. Him and his trainer, pair of mugs , glad he lost.
Dennis Mcann won again , fights out of ibox Bromley. Good little fighter.

Fighters like Arthur are bad for boxing's popularity. I'd agree with Casual about how irritating Yarde's team is though.

Still, personally I'd instruct judges to award the more aggressive fighter in close rounds.

Does Holyfield really want a nibble on the other ear?

It's a shame Tyson didn't show the same dedication when he was in his prime. He might have lasted a lot longer and got more respect from boxing critics.

Did anyone see James Tennyson’s fight on Friday? He can certainly punch hard enough to trouble most other lightweights.

Definitely, his prime ended up as being largely over by 25.

Once his mentor died, he went off the rails and it's a factor of a large amount of money and fame that few then tell you what you might not want to hear and those that do can easily be ignored.

There was that shark Don King waiting for him.

Yeah not great to watch. Although I was more hoping that yarde would lose, which he did. Yarde and his trainer seem to have this idea that he is the second coming, he’s really not, heavy handed and has blown away the part time boxers/ scaffolders that he has been up against so far. 2 decent fighters (although kovalev was miles over the hill and Arthur untested at that level) 2 defeats. It was a close nothing fight really, but for him to say it was a robbery is embarrassing. I’d have been gutted if I’d had a few quid on a draw.
The most boring current fighter must be Lawrence Okolie, love my boxing, but when he does his ring walk, I’m off to bed.

Okolie has all the physical attributes with that height and arm reach, but his punch radar is wonky....If he could sort it out he's be a Thomas Hearns.

But I don't think you can learn and improve on accuracy and sense of spacing that much....So Okolie is going to waddle his time around the boxing scene until he meets a talented big puncher who enjoys felling trees.
