Andrew giving the Judge the run-around is not a good ploy by his legal team. Especially when you add Andrew's lack of public appearances and extreme difficulty in serving him papers. It's almost like a deliberate ploy. Shhhurely not ?

The Judge isn't going to take kindly to this sort of thing.
Can't help but think Andrew is being really poorly advised and represented. If this is the best his Legal team are capable of, you can't help but think they have very little else to assist, by way of witnesses and alibi's and reliable testimony.

It's like watching a car crash (no, not the DoE driving ), but in really sl l l l o o o w motion. And you know who the biggest casualty will be.

If he hadn't done that absolutely disastrous TV interview that breathed massively more life and interest into this, I wonder if he'd even be dealing with this situation now..

It is a tad embarassing, thinking if you hide away you can"t be found, in windsor or balmoral, it"s something you might laugh at boris doing, playing hide and seek, but his royal highness? tut tut.

Andrew's "defence team" issue another startling attempt to get the case dismissed. The team are doing a really bad job, as this is starting to look like an admission of events, "but it was legal".
The allegation is of rape, and that is not legal , whatever age the victim

"Prince Andrew says accuser Virginia Roberts Giuffre’s sex assault suit against him should be tossed because she was 17 when she allegedly had sex with him — the legal age of consent in New York, new court papers show.

Giuffre sued Andrew in August claiming she was forced by Jeffrey Epstein and alleged madam Ghislaine Maxwell to have sex with the royal at least three times in London, New York and the US Virgin Islands when she was just 17.

But in court papers filed Monday, the Duke of York argues there are constitutional issues with Giuffre’s suit because it was filed under the New York Child Victims’ Act." (New York Post 14 December 2021)

Now being reported today, in the Sun.

"COURT FIGHT Prince Andrew tries to get rape lawsuit thrown out claiming accuser was over age of consent despite denying they had sex"

Even The Sun can see the conflict in the legal claim for having the case 'tossed' out of court. Andrew must have a really top legal team

Lawyers for Andy , still trying to get case thrown out. This time because of the agreement she signed with Epstein. To my amateur legal mind, that is an illegal contract, and therefore unenforceable. The case should proceed.

This is Andy's last throw of the dice to stop proceedings before they start. Unless , of course, a medical condition intervenes, such as Covid perchance. Or a.n. other illness

The court asked for medical documentation of this alleged condition. Andy's top legal team said they couldn't provide any medical evidence of his no-sweat claim.
