Think West Ham will be below us, Newcastle to. It will be interesting to see what sheffield Utd are like without Henderson in goal. Highly annoying that Bumfluff has scored twice this season already. AS previously posted if Ings gets injured then Southampton could struggle. Genuinely believe we will finish mid table and safe by March and all three promoted teams survive.

Have I missed something? Why is that annoying? I don't recall him doing or saying anything to justify hostility - apart, of course, from being useless.

It's so early in the season. West Brom and Fulham look delightfully frail at the back. Always so pleasing.

Brighton look really decent. Sheff U have been unlucky but sometimes such bad luck feeds on itself and hits the mentality. Let's hope they lose a couple more and start panicking.

Burnley look bang average but you know they'll turn into Burnley at some point.

I still fear for us greatly if we sell Wilf without comparable replacement but these two wins have been mathematically great news.

West Ham will get it together. They're better than their start, although Moyes is the perfect man to keep them struggling.

Dyche still not having much backing from the board. If he goes I can't see Burnley surviving. He's still the best long term replacement for Hodgeson in my opinion. Fulham and WBA the other two favourites. But you never know how things might change. One might get BFS in and have a late surge.

With two weeks of the transfer window still to go it’s difficult to say but having said that there’s probably never been a worse time to get promoted to the Premier League with very little money around due to a lack of fans so assuming the season gets finished it’s going to be a long and painful 8 months or so for all 3 of the promoted clubs. I’m not buying into Sky’s Leeds love-in, I think they are just as likely as the other two.

I think Leeds will stay up, but will rely on out scoring their opposition in games, kind of like us under Pardew. They look likely to concede 2-3 goals a game which is exciting when you win but infuriating when you lose.

So is this the start of the Big Sam revival. Also unfortunately Brighton are playing much better than their position would suggest. They will pull clear. Burnley and Newcastle are both s***e. It still gripes that we lost to both of them. Fulham have some decent players and play some good stuff at times but I don’t think Parker has the nous to keep them up. It will be an interesting second half to the season and we just need to keep picking up the points to keep us clear of the bottom 3

I think they've had a hold over them for many many years something like three defeats in thirty games something like that and Wolves also gave them two stupid penalties, WBA are doomed along with Sheff.U.

I believe I posted that I have seen Brighton a few times and that they are better than their league position suggests.
I was not surprised one iota that they beat Leeds today and I do believe that Leeds could well get sucked into a tense relegation battle.

I saw Brighton’s game at City in the week and I thought they played very well. I fancied them to win today.
As with all the teams in the bottom half if any of them could find someone to stick the ball in the back of the net on a regular basis they would be fine. Brighton look good until the final third. Maupay could be their answer

Yes quite, we should be between Southampton and West Ham at the very least by now if our stupid strikers knew how to actually do their job ...Oohh I mean if Mr Hodgson knew how to do his job, silly me.

Sheffield United and West Brom are worse than us...
Oh dear! Fulham?

Four more wins and three more draws should do it.

And then another season...

trying to secure 38 points.

Progress?

I am not convinced we will attain 38 pts.
Games come thick and fast, we have an old squad and a few injuries could prove damaging particularly in central defence.

So you dont think we will get 15 points from our next 20 games? I'd be amazed if we don't get a minimum of 20.
