He's not expecting the police to be kicking down doors anytime soon.

This will be normal one day. Defund the police and it could be quite soon.

to say i was disappointed in their performance would be a rather large understatement.

Hypothetical question : if you ever needed help again, would you be better off slipping a few quid to Tony Soprano ?

He could always haunt them I suppose.

Actually, would be a good punishment. Instead of tagging them, make a ghost follow them wherever they go.

Living down here does have some advantages. At least you can see them cry.

That's f***ing disgraceful. How do they think those people don't need to be caught? I would hardly blame a householder if they killed them both and fed them to the dog. Would anyone else?

I would however then, you would be arrested. Police only interested in an easy collar. Anything requiring investigation is too difficult.

I lost £9k on an email intercepted fraud. Neither the bank, nor the police were interested. Well actually that’s not true, I got a reply after I complained but that’s as far as it went.

I got robbed of all my money online when I booked a legitimate class for my son. The bank refunded me and the police kept me up to date with the investigation. I used to trust the British police, this all sounds terrible.
As for what I said, leave no trace and deny, deny, deny. My dog is a hungry one and a good 45kg.

Reminded me of the bloke, went out on his 65th birthday for a meal with his mrs couple years back in essex, came home to find a 30 year old burglar going through his stuff, started fighting and bloke pinned intruder down, shouting for mrs to call the feds! She called and they said they were busy," tell your husband to let the intruder go, we will catch him another time". Bloke had to let this angry, younger, fitter bloke up, may or may not have been armed, and let him go! .

Remember the two burglars who broke into Duncan Ferguson’s house? Bad move on their part since Big Dunc wasn’t known for his tolerance. One of them ran away and the other ended up in hospital.

A certain landlord of what was the White Horse pub, now the Holmesdale, had 2 burglars break in, he & his faithfull friend 'Mr Bat' battered fcuk out of them, he got nicked & quite soon after sacked, they walked free, until some people paid them a visit(allegedly).

The issue with confrontation, is that you never know what your opponent 'has'

I did Tae Kwon Do for a time. It doesn't protect you from knives or bullets, or a gang of people.
