From the report:

It follows research that has observed positive and long-lasting results in the mental health of volunteers using psilocybin. In January, a study found that a single dose of psilocybin can result in “significant improvements” in reducing stress and anxiety in cancer patients for as long as five years after it was administered.

“Participants overwhelmingly (71 to 100 per cent) attributed positive life changes to the psilocybin-assisted therapy experience and rated it among the most personally meaningful and spiritually significant experiences of their lives,” the researchers said.

Man is the most insane species. He worships an invisible God and destroys a visible Nature. Unaware that this Nature he’s destroying is this God he’s worshipping.

Why not? In some cases let people take whatever drugs they want if it helps.
To take it further if terminally ill people want to go out in a blizzard of heroin and cocaine then where’s the harm?

Interesting read. I've heard a fair amount about Peru's Ayahuasca ceremonies, so I can't say I'm surprised that DMT has applications in this area too. Whatever works or enlightens. Lord knows some need their 'snow globe shaken up'.

One of my friends is doing an Ayahuasca session today, in her last one she said her pal s*** herself and started crying, part of the cleansing process apparently

She could’ve watched Palace and got that outcome.

Yes, I've heard people tend to do two or three of them and that it can be a profoundly positive and healing experience. Apart from the pant s***ting!

Isn’t that the “active ingredient “ in magic mushrooms? I have a vague recollection of it getting me through my youth!
