IF, & its a mahoosive 'if' FIFA/IBAF, allow the introduction of sin bins ala rugby union, i think we will find out VERY soon bias in favour of the 'big6' ie, for every 1 of their players 2/3 of others per match will be in there, more money for the FA tho.

Perhaps it should be, the extra 2 subs have to be homegrown youngsters. That will teach them

That will teach them You aint wrong there, saw that about 9 subs on bench, its to do with the 'concussion' subs, 2 per team per match, once ratified by various authorities. The EPL/FA & 'stakeholders' had a meeting today & yet again voted against 5 subs, gonna get fiesty methinks.

As a sin-bin is a greater punishment that a yellow the entire rule book may need to be reconsidered. Which would be a nightmare for consistency. What I would like to see in is a rule from rugby where you could punish the team for persistent rotational fouling. If two players hack the same player, then the 3rd gets a yellow.

What I would like to see is some way of removing the incentive for a cynical foul that either allows a team to regroup when caught exposed or hauls down an opponent who is about to create danger. The idea that someone can "take one for the team" needs to be removed. It was openly talked about yesterday by Wilder and some of the Sheff United players as something they failed to do. Get rid and the quality of football must improve. 20 min sin bins would work. Straight reds even better. A yellow is no deterrent when the duty is rotated. How about a yellow for the first offence but if a second happens by another player then the player committing the first then gets his ungraded to a red and the player committing the second a yellow. A third means he then goes. That would stop it. Thoughts?

I understand your sentiments but I can never see a straight red being given, sin bin is probably the answer but as I have said previously it would have to used consistently, which I am doubtful would happen.
