On the wider question of contracts. I cant imagine that the board have not tried to put forward new deals for all the players we are about to lose. Even if some are aging it will cost over £100m to replace them. So why aren't the players signing?

If he is on his way, why would he get a little game time yesterday? With his history of injury, surely there was a risk that he would get injured? Oh.
