Some good points from me, but also some criticisms.

There was a limiting factor to new programmes, due to CV19. However , did we really need to see the same Jamie Oliver and Nigella Lawson skit 5 times a day ?

"Classic" <insert name of soap opera> for a load of re-runs from yester-year.
And on the subject of cheap TV, I don't need to be 'educated' by some teenager sitting in front of their bookcase, spouting 5hlt about youtube, etc.

Some re-runs were good. The Bishops Wife, and Raiders of the Lost Ark, are 2 examples near-flawless film-making.
What I didn't want was 'Oliver', 'Home Alone' and 'The Grinch' shown every 5 minutes.
It's nice to get the opportunity to catch these classics, but most of use have 'Catch-up' , a Firestick or satellite,....etc.

Thoughts anyone ?

We thought terrestrial tv was awful this year. Spent most of the time watching Netflix

There is so much to watch across the various options.

Yes there is a lot of old crap on but there really has never been a better choice if you are prepared to pay for it.

A shame the BBC, Sky, Channel 4 and ITN have to bombard us with their constant propaganda. That is what is ruining TV.

My thoughts exactly. Terrestrial TV was awful and did themselves no favours the streaming services must have been laughing their Christmas socks off.

best thing i saw was'Rome'
both seasons off Amazon prime, about 10yrs old ?
plus a moody copy of
'Another Round'-mads mikkelsen, danish story about 4 teachers trying an alcohol experiment.
thoroughly recommend it.

It was the best of times it was the worst of times, which reminds me there was a bit of an overkill on all things Charles Dickens.

There was some okay stuff amongst the dross but so there should be with what now seems like an infinite number of channels.
