I am a lifelong Palace fan but watching Bell on tv in the sixties and early seventies in that City team and for England was a great, great pleasure.

Can you imagine how he would play on today's pitches???

A wonderful player whom I saw play on a number of occasions, including against Palace, both for Man. City and, before that, Bury. RIP.
