Camarasa, Meyer, Riedewald hardly ever picked. There is a pattern as to what type of player is required by our manager. We as fans just have to like it or lump it, which to be fair is what most of our current central midfield do.

We may never know what went on with Camarassa but it is clear to see the Riedewald and Meyer are not good enough to be anything more than squad players in this division.

In the pre season friendlies v Brentford B and Oxford he never shined at all. I realised then that he wasnt going to make it here.

I never saw anything in Meyer to ever suggest he was as good a player as was made out on his arrival. There was a huge hype that we had signed the next big thing but he always looked lightweight and like he was playing for the money, not playing for the club. I can't see us missing him.

Never was given a real chance and when he had a few games etc he was played out of position or had only like 10min

Roy plays his way you fit into that system or your done for he did the same with Reidewald and now he has changed to Roys way he looks awful when he gets the chance to play.

Roy destroys players he doesn't understand using a players talents.

Meyer may not be a top midfielder but anybody that had watched him fully not just clips would see he was a solid player in Germany you don't just become useless over night especially if moving from a top team to one of Palace level

All these brilliant players that can’t get in the first team, that were never given a real chance

Yeah.
If only we had a manager that understood what it takes to be a success in this league.

Know we got Max for next to nothing but read he on £170k pw - if correct he paid around £20m while at Palace.

Johnny Williams, Barry Bannan, Max Meyer - essentially all very similar players, certainly build wise and just not strong enough to cope with life in a premier league midfield.

Sorry but Max was too lightweight for the PL. If he was class as you allege, other teams would have snapped him up before now, but I'm not aware that they were lining up to sign him.

As for Hodgson 'ruining' him, Roy gave Max a fair run out in the early days and he didn't do enough. Yes there were some neat skills and moves but he lost the ball too often. I can't recall a game in which Max gave a MOTM performance.

Just watching leicester and they are a team of players of a similar size. I dont think that assumption holds water tbh.

You can’t honestly say that the Mac’s are worst players than Meyer?

Jimmy Mac has been one of our most consistent players since joining us,
