I accept He does have a poor injury record- but if that is reflected in a reasonable salary with appearance bonuses then I think it’s worth considering (at the right price).
Ok - He’s not a youngster with bags of potential- but has plenty left to prove and time left in his career to do it.
I think he’ll never be able to command the salary he once did - so at the right price could be a quality addition.

He’s the next jack rodwell. Will retire absolutely minted with a stop start career due to injuries and inconsistent form.

Rumoured to be going to Roma for 13.5m. Personally I hope he proves to be huge bargain. Ironic that Jose is now interested in Chelseas youf.

He is a genuinely class player in my opinion. I think he has on going back related injury that seems to flare up on occasions. From some of the games i watched when Fulham hit there good spell to close the gap to the rest of the teams near the relegation mark he was by far there best player and hitting the heights he did in is spell with us. He however, picked up an injury towards the end of the season ( around the time Fulham played us ) and that was Fulham's time in the premier league over. Good luck if he goes to Italy.

Sadly an immense injury list to go with his immense talent. His time to move was after his successful loan with us. Sadly he didn't and his career has stagnated. He could still be a great for someone though if he can stay fit... just not sure we can take that risk.

... though we do love to sign injured players...

I think his wages rather than the transfer fee will be the problem.

In many ways would be similar to Eze and I struggle to see them in the same team. So despite rating him very highly, a no from me.

He's way more versatile than that, and we clearly need another central midfielder. I think ideally someone who is box to box.

His career peaked at Palace, could be a good move for him.

But we need a strong squad. If Eze gets injured we don't really have anyone else who can play in that CAM role

This is an absolute neccessity.

We sadly just cant rely on Jimmy Mac anymore.

In essence we have lost 2 midfielders in Gallagher and Koutyate but only brought in Doucoure.

I could see Chelsea doing a deal here.

But we have a far greater need of a player who can press the ball, win it high up the pitch, and energize the midfield. RLC is pretty lazy off the ball especially when we're out of possession.

Fabulous player on the ball, as is Eze.

He played a very different role for Chelsea last season than he did previously for us. He was mainly employed as a deeper ball playing defensive midfielder but also ended up playing on the right mid, in the centre and even at the back.

He's showing his versatility and although he isn't a ball winner, he is comfortable on the ball in whatever position. If ball retention is the game we are trying to play, then he provides some good squad depth and some quality in the middle of the park.
