Bump -

Anyone who thought Taliban 2.0 was going to be any different from the original version -

Woman & girls denied access to the higher education system (how long before they ban them at secondary school level too) - Denied working opportunities in almost every sector including local & foreign NGO & Charities -

And this is just the stuff that the media are reporting, the situation on the ground for any non Taliban supporter is sure to be a lot worse.

The more things change the more they stay the same -

Every time the west gets involved it just gets the blame for everything, maybe some of that criticism carries weight...some. I at least agree with criticism of neo con policy.
However this is the middle east, let them sort out their own problems.

The Taliban were in charge before we went there, if the majority willing to fight there....because that's what it comes down to....if that majority prefer the Taliban to other forms of government then who are we to say different.

If they stay out of our business we should stay out of theirs.

I don't buy the claim (Happy Xmas by the way) that the USA is in better shape over Ukraine because they pulled out. of Afghanistan.

With the Taliban excesses against women how can they be seriously saying they are helping them.

A black mark for the west imo and it has probably actually added to Putin/Chinese perception of our weakness.

What adds to Putin/Chinese perception of our weakness is the likes of you continuingly trying to undermine the West.
