Lack of pace still to be addressed

I was hoping the lack of pace in the squad would be addressed in the window, in particular in the attacking and wide areas.
Zaha seems to have lost a yard and it seems only Schlupp has the change of pace to get away from a defender.
We have added some energy and youth to the ageing squad , but not the explosiveness which can often be the difference in games.
Think Bolassie in his prime.
I hope we address this before the end of the window.

Good post. PVA is a miss and gave us cutting edge on left. Now we are lacking pace on both flanks

Apparently Merson said on soccer Saturday we parked two buses against Chelsea. Well I don’t think we were defensive, we just weren’t good enough and our lack of pace and inability to move the ball around quick enough showed us up badly, only god send is we won’t be playing Chelsea every week
