I thought that one was a marked improvement on Octopussy and For Your Eyes Only. They were the worst of the Moore era in my view. He never did a better one than Live and Let Die although Spy Who loved Me and Moonraker were the big crowd pleasers.

That's a hard one, Bond movies used to come with a good potion of soft cheese until recently when they take themselves a tad seriously. I think the 'Man with the Golden Gun' for the older versions as I think Lee was the best villian, though there are several up there and 'Skyfall' for the recent......though other movies have better sections in them....best music is 'secret service', while opening sequence is 'The spy who loved me'. Moore never bettered Live and Let Die for me. Considering the size of the job to reboot Bond once again, it exceeded expectations by some distance.

I'm dreading the next movie, seems the producers are listening to the men haters and trying to change Bond into something a long way from the books.
