Given shows like Good Morning Britain probably want to be able to have access to royals (and their acolytes) would it be wise to have such an individual on staff?

Do the royals give a stuff about someone bad-mouthing Megan?

To keep the royal connection going, I've heard that they're considering Prince Andrew for the role. J/K I mean I'd watch though..

More of a general point.

They probably secretly follow her on insta with the name Corgilover69 or I8Jeffreyarcher or something like that. That's probably about it.

ITV remain unapologetic and are spinning it their way.

The head must be under pressure for caving to Meghan but worse the viewing figures are down go woke go broke.

does anybody at all watch the BBC anymore ? apart from some nonagenarians at the retirement home who cannot find the remote control to change the channel.

anybody at all ?

Meghan Markle v Piers Morgan?

Like Brighton playing Millwall. There is no positive outcome.

Yes, I realise it was ITV who were the subject of review. But it was their CEO who pushed Morgan to apologise to Markle, which, quite rightly, he refused to do and which is why he decided to walk out.

It would be reasonable for ITV to apologise to Morgan as the Ofcom finding saw no reason why he should not express his own point of view.

He was right and they were wrong.

Did you read what Ofcom actually said, or what the right wing press say they said?

They expressed no opinion on whether Morgan should, or should not, express his point of view. Their comments were all directed at his employer, ITV. It's ITV's responsibility to decide what their employee can, or cannot do. It's not Morgan's station. If ITV decided their own standards were compromised and demanded their presenter apologise then apologise, or resign, he must.

Morgan's only defence could be that the terms of his employment were not adequately explained to him, or weren't properly established in his contract. He decided not to raise that defence, but chose to walk.

Morgan is far too big for his boots and deservedly got his comeuppance, which he was angling for for sometime.

Thanks for the very filtered Lefty view.

I read the report. How can that be filtered, in any way?

You obviously have only read the reports. That's filtration!
