Shocked that Kouyate again is selected he has been awful in every game even pre season.

Interesting to see they're resting both fullbacks. Hopefully we can see enough of the ball to get Zaha on Milner as much as possible. Always tough to keep Mane, Jota and Salah quiet but hopefully we can give them something to worry about too. COYP

Shocked that Kouyate again is selected he has been awful in every game even pre season. you really shouldn't be shocked, PV has his reasons which the likes of you and I can only guess at - PV seems to set up a bit more defensive/cautious first half and introduce attacking play/players as the opposition tires. Very encouraging that our 2nd half performances have both been better than the first half last two games - if we put high balls in Benteke might be able to give van Dijk a problem or two, and Kouyate can run around trying to stop their midfield from feeding their front three, and if we're still in the game we've got a strong bench to give them problems late on.

Kouyate, is a cross between a donkey and Bambi on Ice. Absolute liability.

Oh joy.... Benteke, our equivalent of Heskey, rolled out again for some more sparkling holding play and to give commentators easy lines about his dominance at set pieces.
