With the greatest respect to Roy - one word…. RETIRE!! The bags under his eyes look awful, as do the turkey fat under his chins. He has enjoyed a wonderful career with lots of highs and lows! Time to hit the retirement path, play some golf, enjoy the world and spend time with the family, if he misses football that much, be a pundit etc… I hope the experience at Watford has confirmed his original retirement thoughts.

This post has been merged from a topic called 'Watford....surely relegated from the Prem by now ?' by becky Roy has failed at Watford and no doubt will be relieved of his duties before end of the season.So it looks like Norwich and Burnley will join this dreadful side back in the Championship next season.

True - he has tried his best and away from home hasn’t been bad but unfortunately the home form has been disastrous so he isn’t exactly flavour of the month with the fans !

Roy gave this club stability and ensured we stayed in the premiership. For that we will always be grateful. I have great respect for the man. Taking the Watford job was in my opinion a huge error of judgment. He left Palace with his head held high, but I’m sure Watford fans will be delighted when he has gone. His famed organisational skills have not had the same effect at Watford. He looked awful yesterday. I assume he was unwell, could hardly walk and didn’t look himself. Next’s weeks game could be a high scoring match. I will still show my respect to Roy, but if anything….this should reconfirm the need for him to retire and stay retired!!
