Rachel Riley makes the point I have been making.

"The question before them [United] was not whether Mason Greenwood may be found guilty in a criminal, or even civil court, it was whether he's fit to wear the United badge, to be a role model to kids who look up to footballers as heroes, and have his name proudly displayed on shirts sold in the club shop,"

The reason he is "innocent" of the criminal charges is that the victim and up to a dozen other people (according to the media) refused to give statements to the police.

Sorry Badger, but the reason he is "innocent" is that he hasn't been charged with a crime.

Media reports are so dangerous in that nowadays the 'facts' are filtered to fit a story then wrapped in subjective opinion and presented as the whole truth.
He might be an unsavoury character, and it certainly looks that way based on how the media have presented it. Equally the whole thing could have been taken completely out of context. Unless he's found Guilty of a charge by an unbiased court after considering ALL the evidence he should be granted some form of leniency.

The ManU decision to let him go also does not look good, but they have been put in an impossible position. The nation now thinks o him as a scrote and guilty of a crime he has not been punished for and ManU's reputation has been affected.
and tbh, unless Rachel Riley has had access to the whole evidence, or has personal relationships with those involved, then she should stay out of it.

I had to google who Rachel Riley was, other than she appears on countdown, still none the wiser.

Although it will never happen, he could of been the answer to our goal scoring problem.
