The BBC don’t omit any more facts than any other media and a lot less than some.

They select facts based on their position as our national public broadcaster. They are always going to reflect mainstream,opinion and call out the extremes, slightly extreme, slightly, heavily extreme, heavily, whether of the left or right. Those on the left or right don’t like that because they don’t think they are biased. They think they are correct and represent majority opinion which is just in the closet waiting to be let out.

It’s obvious to everyone. Except those on the left or the right.

I don’t think the BBC has omitted anything or is trying to coerce the reader towards the pupil. I think it explains the decision and is in agreement with it, whilst reporting how the girl and her mother disagreed:-

The BBC are reporting the conference story, in the appropriate place. Its coverage of European matters. It’s not a UK story nor of such world shattering importance to knock the Israel/ Iran story off the main page:-

Has this thread started identifying as something other than the identity it was assigned at birth?

Not so unusual I’m afraid but references to dodgy car salesmen in a thread about transgenderism takes it to a new level.

The pupil’s story was top on their internet site for about 6 hours. Sky moved it further down their pages after the initial story broke. It was replaced by the Farage story. The BBC therefore think that a pupil losing a legal judgment at a school that they knew what the rules were before they attended the establishment is more important. I just hope that their persistent over-advertising of that story doesn’t result in the angry mob protesting outside the school.
Re the Farage story; you, like I had to go looking for it on the BBC website despite the fact that it involved a bizarre use of Belgian police and the potential imprisonment of the attendees, including prominent political figures.
That shows the agenda that the BBC has and it’s leaning.
