Strangely enough, there is YT. Although it's a odd one that features Pete Best who they replaced on drums with Ringo. [Link]

In answer to Jimenez, I made out I didn't get them when they were in their pomp, preferring to listen to wierd stuff played by John Peel. But I always had a sneaking admiration for their songwriting. I appreciate them more now than when I was 16!

Oops! Although I'll be impressed if this is what old Slimey was referring to.

That's interesting given that there is no album with that name.

Technically there is. It's the red album for early hits and blue album for later ones.
And there's also 1 which had all their no1's on it.

I know this - I own all three, the first two on vinyl, cassette and CD - but none of them bears the title quoted by Slimey Toad.

Nah. You're not. Grossly overrated in my opinion. Like Mozart, they wrote pop for their time. Catchy tunes. It made them money. I admire them for their writing (Lennon, McCartney) and Harrison could play the guitar well, but as a band, pretty 'meh'.

"She loves you, yeah, yeah, yeah". Inspiring lyrics....

I love the Beatles but there are 2 songs I particularly dislike Yellow Submarine and Hey Jude both are just dirges.

Half of Hey Jude is wonderful and ground breaking.

The 2nd half is awful.

You're correct on Yellow Submarine and all the other crap Ringo wrote.

Fear not, you do not stand alone...I never liked their music.
They couldn't carry a tune in a bucket IMO.

Decorating a room once. Played best ofs from all the great bands from the 60s. Kinks to beach boys; stones to 4 seasons.

The beatles Red and blue albums came top for me.

That said I skipped the very early tracks and stopped playing the later stuff after Across the Universe as most of that is rubbish.

I trust you didn't skip 'While My Guitar Gently Weeps' or 'The Long and Winding Road'.

But don’t touch the one that had all their no.2s on it.

Lennon and McCartney had moments of brilliance, amongst a lot of dog5hlte.
Harrison was good, and Ringo tagged along for the ride
