Starting this thread based on some comments I have seen from a few Left-wing sources/commentators. Gist is that despite the current polling with regards to Labour's lead, there are concerns being voiced that the current disquiet with mainstream politics means that there is a genuine gap at the moment that a party like Reform to step in and benefit from the growing disquiet. The Tories can no longer maintain the masquerade of being opposed to immigration and Labour has built its entire modern identity around promoting the rights of migrants. Throw in the 'net-zero' conformity, which is having real-world consequences and Reform has the potential to step up and offer a lot of disgruntled voters a voice, especially if Farage decides to make a return to front-line politics. Be interesting to see how any of this pans out. Nothing in much of the recent electoral polling to back it up but the Lefties are among a few that I pay attention to and they seem pretty convinced of the potential risk Reform could pose on a multiple of levels.
