Wow! It’s a circus and Parish is the clown.
Looks like Luka, Ayew, Tompkins, Ward and schlupp are guaranteed starters until the end of the season. What will we do if we lose the next 2 or 3 games?

Surely this can't be true? What would it say about us as a club.

We retire Roy from the club, bring in a manager to take us to another level, then after 20 months, bring back the guy we moved on from. That is a DeBoeresque mistake.

I love Roy, he did an amazing job of stablizing Palace at a time when we just needed to stay in the league. No realistic hope of more than a lower mid-table finish but consolidating us as a Premier League football club.

However during that time, the football was dross, we did what was needed, yes but I remember a couple of games where I actually fell asleep while watching. It was painful. You could argue that we just need to survive now but is Roy the man to do it for us again?.

While I feel that something needed to change, either the coaching, recruitment etc, I don't believe we were going to go down with PV in charge. Not when you look at the remaining fixtures. A disappointing 15th place could have been on the cards, maybe. That's just my feeling.

Is going back to an old manager the best that we can do, even as a temporary solution?. If it is, then we need more than a change of manager.

Could Parish tell us which players are now lining up to join the club in the Summer, to better their careers playing for Roy Hodgson. This club is a joke. At least Parish wont need to build the new stand, I have 3 season tickets you can have back if this is the ambition of the club. I get you didn't like Viera, so find someone different before pulling the trigger - idiot! I am absolutely fuming.

Surely this is a wind up? I thought Parish made the club a laughing stock when he sacked FdB after just 4 games, but if this is true it takes it to another level of incredulity entirely.
Parish out.

Good aul Roy. Best chance of staying up. I’m happy with that decision.

Hope we get relegated now, complete joke of a club, no ambition, little investment, sold us out to Americans that couldn't care less. Atleast we get a nice picture of a new stand every couple of years to keep us happy. Rather go back to the championship and the yanks do one.

Unless Roy has discovered some new tactical formula in his mid-70s then we know what we're going to get: exactly what we were getting from Vieira at the end of his reign, only against teams we should be going toe-to-toe with. We won't press, we won't run, we'll sit deep, we'll throw everything in Wilf's direction in the hope he does something. My eyes are only just recovering from when I stabbed them with needles during Roy's last stint.

Plus sides are he might make Mitchell more solid, the players will get an endless supply of Werther's Original to suck on, and we'll finally settle the argument "Would Roy play better football with higher quality players like Vieira had?"

Personally I think Roy wasn't the best option, but possibly the only one. We will now have to pray we stay up and that Parish fixes the next appointment ready to start immediately the season ends. Zero chance Wilf signs a new deal now.

An undisclosed source has stated that the Hodgson story is a smokescreen and that Ian Holloway is due to be announced as manager later this week. Keep it under your hat.

Parish knows how to keep the fans happy. My undisclosed sauce says that our next manager will be from Argentina, loves to wear green shirts and big gloves and has a Gordon Ramsey poster on his wall.

10 seasons + £1bn = reappointing a 76yr old.

If true how embarrassing, cab for Parish and Freedman.
