That applies to me and I'm not informed!

You have to replace 'black' with 'sensible/weather appropriate attire' and 'a drum' with 'on relentlessly with your nonsense on football forums' though.

Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!!

You can't be a member of the HF as your posts are interesting and full of grown up words

Well said, The first time I began to lose respect for Parish was when he started pandering to the spotty teenagers and kicking long term season ticket holders out of their seats to appease them.

Sure it would help.

Pretty sure Brentford's first 11 cost somewhere in the region of £55m. And I remember a stat early this year after Brighton beat Everton, that their team cost less than Iwobi.

There are bargains everywhere. We jsut need to get better at it. A few Brighton examples:

Mitoma - £2.5m
Caicedo - £4.5m
Mac Allister - £7m

The difference being, that because Brighton have a decent team, they can afford to buy young and cheap.

We have such a poor squad that we need bodies in the first team immediately

It does help having an owner who has an analytical company, like Brentford

We need to do what the Everton fans are doing and protest about the board. I am sure the HF can organise something outside the ground with flares and banners etc.

Parrish will listen if he thinks his beloved mini or barnet are going to get damaged.

Mini? Last home game he turned up in a vintage Ferrari. Not sure HF would organise anything against Parish and he knows it

There is a point here. CPFC is the 26th largest football club (by revenue) on the planet. We have been in the Premier League for ten years. We have spent, comparatively, little on players in that time. Yet there is no new stadium. The only notable investment during that decade has been the academy, and at £20M to build, that's hardly been an overwhelming cost. The directors have indeed been lining their own pockets, lead by Parish and his £2.6M a year salary, third highest in the league. Parish has been dining out on CPFC2010, using what happened back then to pull the wool over our eyes with regard to what he's been doing since. In what other industry does a CEO whose company consistently ranks 14th/20 in terms of performance earn one of the top three salaries in the industry?

I get we're all frustrated, god knows I am after watching the football we played last season versus this one, but without a backer to plough tens if not hundreds of millions into the club, what do people realistically expect Parish to do?

I know a lot of people say we should all "stop going on about the past" but the fact of the matter is that 13 odd years ago we were a gnats wing away from going out of existence. We somehow managed to stay in the Championship and then against the odds made it into the Prem where we've enjoyed 10 years (and hopefully 11!) of residency. That doesn't happen with a sh!te chairman, you can't have that much luck.

Granted the lack of not having a decent striker or retaining Gallagher (or a clone) is something that questions need asking on, but I would wager that the answer would be simply that we don't have the funds for anyone who could hit the ground running in the Prem. There's always people with potential, but we've tried that and ended up with Mateta and Édouard, to guarantee a proven striker in the prem costs silly money. We've not been taken over or backed by a bored billionaire, where does everyone think the money is coming from? Parish has brough in these investors, have they injected billions? No, but he has brought them in in an attempt to get more money into the club and they've bank rolled the Academy and Vieira's spending spree last season. Parish doesn't have the money to bank roll a prem club (ala Tony Bloom) and we all saw what happened with Goldberg and Jordan when you plough your entire fortune into a football club.

I don't buy the argument that we shouldn't invest funds into the ground either, the main stand is probably close to falling down given the age of it and we hardly market ourselves as a top notch prem team when we try and get players in and they see the ground. Don't even start on the bogs and food and drink for the fans (I'm in the Arthur ) it all needs a desperate upgrade and that costs money.

I'm genuinely interested to know what people think Parish should do differently and I mean realistically not this b0llocks of "Parish has to go and sell to a billionaire" which seems to be the main thrust of people's suggestions. I'm sure if an unknown Palace fan with deep pockets suddenly wanted to buy the club that Parish would step aside from ownership, but I don't see one, do you?

And with the Vieira/Hodgson stuff, personally I'm not excited to see Roy back, but I'll support him nonetheless. Again though, if Parish had backed Vieira and we'd got relegated then everyone would of said he should of sacked him and he's an idiot for not doing that and the response will likely be the same if Roy doesn't keep us up and everyone says we should of stayed with Vieira. No win situation (and I'm not talking about the results for the rest of the season..).

Rant over.

Parish should stop all the social media c**p, when things are going well. He was one of 4 who saved the club. Does this exempt him from criticism indefinitely? Not in my book.
He claimed our squad was strong enough before January, anyone agree with that? I don’t.
IMO Parish is power crazy and does not want to relinquish control, I believe we may have lost out on potential buyers because he wanted to stay on ( no evidence but my view).
I watched my first game nearly 63 years ago, have seen my bad times than good but to say Parish is not to blame at all for the state we are in is ridiculous. He dies not have the money anymore to be an owner of PL Club.
Rant over
