Blimey. What is this country where the indigenous population are thwarted at every turn from expressing their national pride? Cos, y'see, I live in England, treasure my Englishness (and Britishness, by the way) and have had cause to express this by means of words, deeds and pieces of white rectangular cloth with red crosses on them. And I have never met with either criticism or obstruction by any 'do-gooders' 'PC brigade' stormtroopers, 'reds under the bed', 'furry green monsters from the planet Arcturus' etc.. If you want to express yourself, DO IT! No-one is going to stop you. That's right! The governmental failures that allow Albanian and Turkish pimps, smack dealers and murderous thugs onto our shores under the guise of 'asylum seekers' are just that: governmental failures, born of gross intellectual poverty and institutional breakdown among our rulers. There is no carefully crafted conspiracy to dilute the English out of existence! Breaking news!! PS. Petealiator - notice the irony of your campaign to restore St.George's day to prominence? Thing is, it was shelved by Protestant England after the Reformation as the observance of saints' days were regarded as an idolatrous papist abuse. For those of us who regard the Reformation as the dawn of our national 'greatness', it seems odd that today's patriots should be clamouring for the observance of a Papist saint's day in honour of a Palestinian.

Glad All Over, your lack of tolerance to posters on this thread make you about as bigoted as the t***s from the BNP. Got a quick story. A mate of mine at the newspaper where I work is Indian. Believe it or not, he has the best English grammar at the newspaper and is an asset to us as well as being a top bloke. He is on a work permit that is due to expire soon, which could mean him returning back to India. If he has to go back, then that takes the p!ss. We have a lot of people who arrive on these shores with one intention and that is to scab. Why should my mate go back, while the scroungers stay? In some ways, I don't really blame them because I'd probably do the same if I could get away with it. Doesn't make it right though. The problem is these idiots give decent people like my mate a bad name - that is annoying. My mate was arguing against a white liberalist, (who has led a sheltered life and goes round with his head in the clouds), telling him that racism works BOTH ways. The white guy was adament that racism is done by whites only. My mate even hates the Asians who work in the local Costcutter, saying that they are iilegals!

To me, this is so much part of the problem. Until black people and other "ethnic minorities" feel they can trust the system to treat them and us equally, we can never have a peaceful coexistence. My main point though is that I believe you got these people all wrong. I may not see eye to eye on immigration issues with people like Gordon and Pete (that's Democracy folks) but I do know I have not read one racist post by either of them... ever. My experience of them so far tells me they are too smart to be racist, so don't label them as such. It's all to easy to yell "racism" when it's not there, and that's exactly what enrages people, as well as cheapening the charge when it's valid. Give an argument for your views mate, but don't abuse the administrators and users on this site, please.
HMHS, you telling me now you don't think of us as racists then? I can only applaud that as I honestly think you can also see sense in some of the posts. All makes for a good discussion next we see eachother. Glad all over : No words can express what I thought when I read your post ... I suggest next year maybe attending school and learning things, it might open your eyes !

I should think that they would be horrified that they gave their lives for a nation that has amongst it people whose viewpoints so closely follow those of the people they were fighting against. We don't give a s*** if it's papist in origin and it certainly doesn't matter that St George the man was from Nicomedia and not Croydon!

He is willing to listen, and accept, both sides of an argument if people are willing to explain their positions. I have VERY different views to HMHS but it does not stop me and him going out for a beer and having a laugh... and thats how it should be. Equally, I would never classify you, Petealiator or myself as a racist because of our views. Hope to see you all soon for a good non-political chat

I am very surprised that someone who doesnt like the things that have been posted,hasnt yet called us a bunch of WHITE SUPREMECISTS as a difference to calling us rascist scum.........which seems to roll off their tongues with so much ease........ If i didnt know any better i would say that they havent read all the posts.......... Another little story..........This will explain why i have reservations about having coloured friends.

Exactly DB......................I went to school in London, Kelvin Grove in Sydenham and then Roger Manwood, at both of these establishments it was BLACK versus WHITE at whatever was going on and was encouraged by the WHITE teachers. I am ENGLISH and proud of that fact, I am NOT BRITISH, you never see the Scots, Welsh or Irish in our corner and that suits me.
