Michael Hughes
MICHAEL HUGHES spoke of the disappointment in the Palace dressing room after Norwich produced an 89th-minute winning goal in their 2-1 victory.
Shaun Derry gave the Eagles a perfect start, lobbing Norwich keeper Rob Green from 25 yards to score after two minutes.
Norwich equalised seven minutes before the break when Curtis Fleming brought down Darren Huckerby for a penalty which Huckerby scored.
Then a goal by Malky Mackay with two minutes left on the clock sealed the game for the Canaries.
HUGHES said: "We are all devastated. There wasn't a lot of conversation in the dressing room.
"But we've got to keep our chins up and not moan. We've got to be positive and look forward to the next game.
"We are playing well. It's just a case of getting a couple of results to get the season going for ourselves.
"We have shown today that we are a good side and a match for anyone in this league."
