Crystal Palace threw away a two-goal lead to allow Ipswich back into the game and win 4-3 in the 89th minute.

Andy Johnson gave the Eagles a great start when he got on the end of Neil Shipperley's throughball and fired home after five minutes.

The lead was doubled in the 16th minute when DOUGIE FREEDMAN netted from close range from Shipperley's pass inside the box.

Ten minutes later, Richard Naylor pulled a goal back heading home Jim Magilton's corner which went over Tommy Black's head on the goal-line.

Seconds before the break, Town levelled when Magilton's free-kick was turned onto the post by Wright and Naylor was on hand to score.

Counago converted Ian Westlake's left-wing cross to put Ipswich 3-2 ahead in the 78th minute.

FREEDMAN equalised from the penalty spot for his ninth of the season with two minutes remaining after Wayne Routledge had been fouled in the box.

Just when the Eagles thought they had rescued a point, Shefki Kuqi chased a long ball down the middle and lobbed Cedric Berthelin to score with a minute to go for a dramatic winner.
