Crystal Palace winger Jobi McAnuff admits his injury-plagued season has been the worst ever.
McAnuff has been troubled with hamstring and hernia problems which have restricted the usual ever-present to 29 appearances this term.
But the 25-year-old, who has made just two appearances in 2006, is back to full fitness and is ready to put his injury nightmare behind him.
He said: "My season has been a bit stop-start. It began pretty well and then I got a hernia problem which was there for a little while. It's just a frustrating injury because you can play with it but you're never really where you want to be.
"I had an operation on that done, and you're back running within days. I had just got back to where I wanted to be form-wise and the hamstring came along.
"I had a bad injury in my back before I turned professional but this is definitely the worst season I've had in terms of missing games. I normally miss two or three - and that's just due to a bit of tightness from the amount of matches you can play in this league.
"It's as tough mentally as it is having the injury but I've done alright in getting my head around it."
