Neil Warnock has bolstered his squad with the loan signing of Portsmouth's Franck Songo'o.
The Frenchman, 20, will stay for a month and goes straight into the squad for tonight's home clash against Watford.
Songo'o joined Portsmouth in 2005, and after just three sub apearances, got first-team games under his belt with loan spells at Bournemouth and Preston last season.
"I can play on the right and the left," he said "I like to run at defenders, I'm tricky, quick and like to put in crosses.
"I want to show people what I can do here and help the players. It's going to be tough to get into the team but I hope to get some games.
"There's a lot of quality here. People here want to play football and if you do that the results will come. If everything goes great I could be here longer."
Palace Academy stars John Bostock, Lee Hills and Moses Swaibu have also been named in the squad for the first time.
